Whenever we are at the beach house we feed the birds, mostly with bananas and papaya. No need to say they love it. We enjoy so much going there that we go even if it is raining. There is always something to be done at the house. During these rainy days, while my boyfriend cooks (which he does well and often), all the neighbors from the small gated community enjoy birdwatching. It is amazing how relaxing and entertaining that can be. Now we've started to be curious about their species. They keep coming in a greater variety. We just have to know more about them! I searched on the internet and found a few names, hopefully not mistaken. There are many other beautiful ones that I was not fast enough to take a picture of.  I really enjoy watching what people plant in their gardens. When I go out for my daily walk I usually take my camera with me.  Look at this lavender on the stairs. I have to try growing them. It seems they really enjoy a lot of sunlight I like this entrance and garden a lot. They've got lots of details. The plant pot lying on the ground is all covered with mosaics. This is my favorite. Look at these succulents!

Antes de chegar à cidadezinha sobre a qual quero contar hoje, não poderia deixar de mostrar um pouco da paisagem vista no caminho até lá.  As fotos foram tiradas da garupa da moto em movimento. Tô boa nisto, né? Era uma vez, antigamente, uma cidade famosa, toda murada no norte da Fran ç a. Depois de muitas guerras por l á, no fim da Guerra dos 100 Anos, seu castelo ficou em ruínas.   Depois a cidade ainda passou por um incêndio e peste. Ficou esquecida por s éculos até que um artista a despertou. Ficou encantado por suas ruas de pedras e por suas casinhas de contos de fadas.  Ele a enfeitou com rosas e transformou as ruínas do castelo num jardim inigualável. Isto foi em 1901 e o artista foi o pós-impressionista Henri Le Sidaner.   Hoje a cidade de Gerberoy  é um dos 100 vilarejos mais bonitos da França. Fico feliz por ter aproveitado o pouco tempo que passei lá para caminhar por aquelas ruazinhas por onde passou muita...
