I am so glad I got a commission for 25 small paintings. This is a preview of what they are going to look like. The couple that wants them was very objective about the subject and the colors.
The paintings will be hanging on a very high wall in their home. I really have a lot of work to do now and hope for inspiration, too. I am having fun painting them because they are not so elaborate as the paintings of storefronts and homes I usually do. This is my front door nowadays. The small Holy Spirit above it I bought recently at Casa do Figureiro.
I enjoyed so much doing these bottles! I just couldn't quit. I tried the stained glass paint for the first time. It looks great as candle holders (the smaller glass jars).
Remember that technique I showed HERE that uses paper napkins and you let them melt on the candle's surface? Anyway, I tried it and it works partially. When I heated the spoon in the candle fire it got completely dark so I used the normal gas fire from the oven. Afterwards I used that golden glue I used above in the bottles. These are recicled candles I bought at Santuario Naciona Nossa Senhora Aparecida
It is such a holy space, full of energy and gratitude. I really enjoy visiting there.
Back to my crafts, I gained some ceramic pieces from a shop that was closing and decided to try to use them. I didn't have much choice with colors but the result was not so bad. This sink is in my garage atelier.
Still using the small pieces, I did that for a couple who loved the one at my front door.
